Multipipettes

Eppendorf electronic multipipettes

Dose easily and precisely, regardless of the liquid properties, with electronic multipettes Multipette E3/E3x.

Fill plates or long series of tubes stress-free thanks to the multipipette's light weight and easy handling.

Multipets E3 and E3x have a wide liquid dosing range from 1 µL to 50 mL, 5000 different dosing volumes in 100 nL increments and are used with Combitips® advanced positive displacement tips or ViscoTip® for highly viscous liquids such as 99 .5% glycerol. With automatic tip recognition, the Multipette/Combitips system is ideal for all types of liquids, and by preventing aerosols from escaping the syringe-type tips, users can safely work with hazardous liquids and volatile solutions.

The additional suction/dispensing mode in the Multipette E3x multipipettes allows you to aspirate an unspecified amount of liquid and then dispense the same amount in equal portions. This mode provides versatility for fields as diverse as protein biochemistry, molecular biology, cell biology, and microbiology: examples of their common use include extraction of supernatant and distribution in multiple reaction tubes. It is also useful to determine if the remaining liquid in the used bottle is sufficient for the experiment.

Eppendorf mechanical multipipettes

The Eppendorf Multipette M4 mechanical pipettor allows for a single draw and up to 100 dispensings, making it the ideal, precise tool for long, repetitive pipetting tasks such as filling tubes or plates and aliquoting reagents. Liquid is pumped and dispensed using positive displacement Combitips® tips, which means there is no air cushion to affect the properties of the sample liquid. This ensures that the correct volume is always dispensed – regardless of the density, viscosity and volatility of the liquid.

Main features:

  • The step counter shows the number of dosing steps completed.
  • The volume dial allows you to set 20 different volumes for each size of Combitips Advanced.
  • Automatic recognition of Combitips tips.
  • The motion sensor, if the Combitips tip is left attached, the Multipette M4 turns off when not in use to save energy. When moved, it automatically turns on again, still "remembering" the number of dosing steps performed to increase efficiency.
