Cytiva tools for sample filtration
The most famous in the Cytiva range of filter media are Whatman cellulose filter papers, which are divided into:
- Chromatographic paper;
- General purpose filter paper;
- Paper intended for health care (to determine the type of infectious disease agent and to check their sensitivity to antibiotics and chemotherapeutic agents by the in vitro zone of inhibition method);
- Pre-folded filter paper for qualitative analysis;
- Quantitative ashless filter paper;
- Quantitative hardened ashless filter paper;
- Quantitative hardened low-ash filter paper;
- Seed germination test paper;
- soil analysis filter paper;
- Sugar and food industry filter paper;
- Wet reinforced filter paper.
You can also choose from glass and quartz microfiber filters, cellulose, glass and quartz thimbles (extraction sleeves), syringe filters (various diameters, various membranes - PES, PVDF, Nylon, PTFE, CN, RC, CA, etc., sterile and non-sterile).
Carl Roth instruments for sample filtration
Carl Roth's filter media includes:
- Membrane filters of various diameters and porosity;
- Filters placed on syringes, which are of various diameters, of various membranes (PES, PVDF, Nylon, PTFE, MCE, RC, CA, etc.), sterile or non-sterile;
- Extraction acorns "fingers";
- Large filter sheets;
- Filters placed on bottles.
TPP bottle filters
TPP filter vessels - for storing media and filtering aqueous solutions:
- Large square filter surface of 49 cm2 and 69 cm2 respectively, which is 20% larger than similar volume bottle filters with circular membranes;
- Premium quality PES filter membrane, pore size 0.22 µm;
- High traffic;
- Low protein binding, excellent chemical resistance;
- The square shape of the filter protects the medium more efficiently and consumes less space than circular bottles;
- The capacity of bottle filters is from 150 to 1000 mL.
TPP syringe filters
TPP syringe filters are designed for filtering aqueous solutions:
- PES membrane;
- Membrane pore size 0.22 µm or 0.45 µm,
- High flux, minimal protein binding capacity
- Typical initial flow at 25 °C water at 2 bar (~ 29 psi): 175 ml/min.
- Inlet: standard luer-lock / outlet: luer-slip
- The diameter of the body is 33 mm, so the optimal filtration capacity is a 50 mL centrifuge tube;
- Packed one at a time.
